Application Development / Maintenance (a/k/a IT Business Analysis) ( State Street Bank and Trust Company; Quincy , MA): Will be responsible for developing and maintaining complex software in a fast paced environment. The individual in this role must possess both a software background and deep knowledge covering Cleared, Over the Counter, and Listed Derivative product types. Will support development across multiple development Hubs and provide subject matter expertise while working with State Street internal Derivatives Centers of Excellence across several global locations. Specific duties of the position include: Performing system and business analysis for complex Derivative product types, including cleared, listed, and OTC, to design optimal software solutions addressing industry, client, and operational needs; Supporting the industrial agile development process within the Derivatives Hub application team directly as a team member and indirectly via the overall development process; Performing project management roles, aiding in the delivery of software to production; Providing Derivative subject matter expertise to support critical production issues, as well as triaging issues identified in the development process; Articulating complex mathematical calculations to development and application teams to ensure accuracy in developed software; Providing Derivative Product subject matter expertise to business users, business project resources, and developers and testers covering the full gamut of complex and exotic derivatives; Providing Derivative Hub application subject matter expertise to business users, business project resources, and developers and testers; Performing other project related activities as identified to complete deliverables, reduce risk, and improve the usability of the Derivative Hub application; Applying in-depth knowledge in software development environment and Cleared and Bilateral OTC Derivatives; and Utilizing experience and extensive knowledge in FpML and ISDA definitions for OTC and Cleared derivatives. Hybrid remote telecommuting permitted pursuant to company policy.
Minimum requirements: Bachelor's degree or its equivalent in Computer Science or a related field; plus 10 years of experience in any occupation/title working with Cleared and Bilateral OTC Derivatives.
Total experience above must include the following: 5 years of experience working in a software development environment. Must also have: Demonstrated solid written and verbal communication skills; Demonstrated advanced understanding and interpretation of FpML (Financial Product Markup Language); Strong background working with ISDA and understanding of ISDA definitions related to Derivative Products; Demonstrated ability to multitask and work with a diverse background of teams and individuals; Demonstrated ability to lead project initiatives and organize groups to achieve complex and challenging goals; and Proven knowledge of FpML and ISDA definitions for OTC and Cleared derivatives. All experience can be gained concurrently.)

Salary Range:
$157,643 - $210,000 Annual
